Dr. Tejas Thakker is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with consultancy services at Apollo Hospital, Gandhinagar. While Dr. Thakker is familiar with all aspects of the musculoskeletal system, his key skill areas are Traumatology and Spine Surgery. This includes management of the entire range of spinal conditions covering degenerative, traumatic, infective and tumorous conditions of the spine through operative and non-surgical therapy with optimal results.

Dr. Thakker fulfilled his training in orthopaedics successfully with the finalization of MBBS and MS (Ortho) qualifications through M P Shah Medial College, Jamanagar. His success in final year MBBS came through as a Gold medal by Saurashtra University for his outstanding performance in OB-GYN. On completion of residency under the supervision and guidance of eminent Prof. A S Solanki, Dr. Thakker engaged in medical education for several years. He joined B J Medical College, Ahmedabad as Assistant Professor and later NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad as Associate Professor where he executed responsibilities as a clinician and teacher. Dr. Thakker’s association with Apollo Hospital began in 2006 as a full-time Orthopaedic consultant where he is involved in the treatment of all types of orthopedic injuries, joint related problems and spine ailments. The spectrum of injuries include all complex fractures and polytrauma including fixation of pelvis and acetabular fractures.
