Dr Sai Lakshmi Daayana is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynae-Oncologist at Apollo Health City, Hyderabad. She has a vast 18 years of experience as a Gynecologist in United Kingdom. In 2002, she was awarded MRCOG. She got her MD degree in 2009 from the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK for her research on HPV in female genital tract.

Dr Sai Daayana underwent sub-specialty training in gynae-oncology approved by the Royal College for 4 years as a clinical lecturer at the Christie hospital which is Europe’s largest cancer treatment centre. From the year 2013 to 2016, she worked as a consultant in gynae-oncology at St James Institute of Oncology, Leeds, which is Europe’s largest teaching hospital.

Dr Sai Daayana holds immense expertise in the surgical treatment of cancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vagina and the vulva. She also has thorough expertise and knowledge in the Management of menstrual problems in peri-menopausal women, cancer risk-reducing prophylactic surgery, fertility preserving cancer surgery, Robotic surgery for cancer of the uterus / cervix and cancer screening to treat patients with cervical or ovarian cancer.
